Notifications
How notifications work
Meshia notifies you when something important happens in your sessions. Useful for long-running jobs: start a training run, close your laptop, get notified when it's done.
Email notifications
Email notifications go to the address you signed in with. They fire for:
- Experiment completed. Training finished, here are the final metrics
- Experiment failed. Something went wrong, here's the error
- Research plan completed. All experiments in the plan are done
- Research plan needs input. The agent hit an ambiguous result and wants your guidance
- Session auto-stopped. Your session was idle for 30+ minutes and Meshia stopped it to save cost
- Workflow completed/failed. A scheduled workflow finished or hit an error
Each email includes a direct link back to the relevant session, experiment, or plan.
In-app bell
The bell icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard shows unread notifications. Click it to see the list. Each notification links to the relevant page.
Notifications are marked as read when you click them. Click Mark all read to clear the badge.
Configuring preferences
Go to Settings > Notifications to control what you get notified about. You can:
- Toggle email on/off per event type
- Toggle in-app on/off per event type
- Set quiet hours. No emails between, say, 11 PM and 7 AM
By default, everything is on. Most people turn off session.auto-stopped emails after the first few.
Notification timing
Emails are sent within 30 seconds of the event. In-app notifications appear in real time via WebSocket. If you're looking at the dashboard, you'll see the badge update instantly.
For scheduled workflows that run overnight, the completion email is the primary way you'll know it's done. Check your inbox in the morning.
